Who We Are

Contact us

Aegean American S.A. is a Panamanian agricultural development company dedicated to building one of Latin America's largest and most technically advanced fine-aroma cacao platforms. Founded on a conviction that sustainable agriculture and institutional-grade investment can coexist, Aegean American is converting degraded cattle pastureland in La Soledada into a traceable, export-quality cacao supply chain with measurable environmental impact.

The company brings together experienced professionals in agricultural operations, finance, and project development to execute a phased 2,150-hectare build-out across the fertile lowlands of La Soledada, Soná district, jurisdiction of Veraguas Province, Panama, a region uniquely suited to fine-aroma cacao cultivation.

Why We Are Doing This

Building a geographically diversified, ESG-aligned cacao supply to meet global demand and reduce supply chain risk.
Global demand for premium, traceable, deforestation-free cacao has never been greater. Yet the supply of certified fine-aroma cacao remains concentrated in a handful of vulnerable regions, primarily West Africa, exposing buyers and investors alike to correlated climate, disease, and political risk.
Aegean American was established to address this gap. By developing a large-scale agroforestry platform in Panama, we are creating a geographically differentiated, sustainable cacao supply that meets the traceability and ESG standards demanded by specialty chocolate manufacturers, institutional buyers, and responsible investors worldwide.
Beyond commercial returns, this project converts former cattle pasture into productive forest systems, generating rural employment, restoring biodiversity, and contributing to Panama's national climate commitments.
